For children who use Russian as the main language of communication at home. They already speak confidently about everyday topics and understand family members well, but at this age their language skills still need structured development.

How the Program Works

The program combines reading development, vocabulary building, and an introduction to the foundations of the Russian language.
Children expand their vocabulary, strengthen their communication skills, reinforce grammar, and gradually become more independent and confident using Russian in both everyday and academic settings.

What Your Child Will Learn

  • Read confidently by syllables and gradually progress to reading whole words;
  • Understand short texts and retell them in their own words;
  • Significantly expand their vocabulary across topics such as nature, animals, the city, school, professions, travel, sports, music, space, and transport;
  • Learn the basics of Russian phonetics;
  • Learn to distinguish between letters and sounds, vowels and consonants, and hard and soft consonants;
  • Talk in detail about themselves, their day, and the world around them;
  • Read traditional Russian folk tales such as “Teremok,” “Kolobok,” and “The Three Bears”;
  • Read short texts with confidence, understand their meaning, and retell them in their own words.
