How the Program Works
The program is divided into two progressive stages. We combine effective beginner-level Russian instruction with speaking practice and an engaging introduction to the language through child-friendly topics, interactive platforms, and game-based learning.

At this stage, children who are starting Russian from scratch take their very first steps in the language. Lessons are playful and engaging, making the transition into a new language environment feel natural, clear, and enjoyable.
The course helps children develop listening comprehension, build a basic vocabulary, and learn their first everyday phrases. They begin to understand simple instructions from the teacher without translation, become more confident, and take their first steps toward communicating independently in Russian.

Your child will learn to:
- talk about themselves and their family;
- name toys, clothes, food, animals, plants, body parts, colors, and weather;
- say what they like, can do, and are doing;
- count and describe objects by color, size, and quantity;
- understand simple questions and answer them;
- use basic pronouns such as я, ты, он, она;
- use simple structures such as «у меня есть», «это...», «я люблю», and «я умею»;
- use singular and plural forms when talking about quantities;
- build their first sentences in Russian.

At this stage, children move from individual words and basic phrases to longer, more complete answers. Lessons help reinforce what they have already learned, introduce simple grammar structures, and build confidence using Russian in everyday situations.
The program focuses on expanding vocabulary and improving listening comprehension. Children begin to understand the teacher more easily, learn to ask simple questions, and become more confident taking part in conversations on familiar topics.

- talk about their home, toys, clothes, food, pets, and nature;
- describe their day, the weather, and the seasons;
- count objects and use ordinal numbers;
- talk about holidays and their birthday;
- take part in simple conversations and ask questions;
- use personal and possessive pronouns;
- describe where objects are using prepositions such as в, на, под, у;
- match adjectives with nouns correctly in gender and number;
- ask and answer questions using words such as «где?», «когда?», «какой?», «кто?», and «что?».
